Easter

Easter

How much are you enjoying the longer daylight hours being thrown our way?! Every year I say the same thing but I really do forget just how good it feels to have lighter mornings and evenings. By now, I'm so over cosy nights in and movie marathons with hot chocolate. Bring on the picnics, the spring clothes and actually enjoying outdoor trips without feeling like you want to run inside the moment you step out.

And with Spring, comes Easter - such a fun occasion which marks the time you can start bringing daffodils and pastel accessories in to your home and start planning garden parties for warmer weather.

So with all this loveliness just around the corner, I've compiled a list of decorative accessories you can add to your home to give it an Easter makeover. Whether you want to create a beautiful table for Easter visitors or you'd simple like to dust off the cobwebs and bring some Spring in to your home.

What I love most about this delightful Easter table is how simple yet effective the bunches of tulips in  glass jars look. I also love that the table runner is adorned with eggs - again so simple but it adds a really sweet touch to the centrepiece. See how to create this table here.

These bunny shaped  napkins make an adorable and simple-to-make addition for your Easter table. Find the instructions here.

No Easter roundup would be complete without something sweet and this Easter cake definitely ticks the box. It's a pretty epic looking cake and what better time of year to make a chocolate cake than at Easter. See all the mouthwatering steps  here.

A really quick way to transform a dining table is to tie up cutlery with ribbon. It creates a beautiful place setting for each guest and adds a pop of colour to your celebration too. Get your ribbon  here.

For a fun craft activity once all the sugar wears off, how about this fun idea for an Easter chick made from a  paper plate. Step by step guide is available here.
