Mini Washi Tape Bunting

We love washi tape here at Peach Blossom. If you don't know what it is, it's kind of like masking tape but *much* prettier. The fact that it comes in so many patterns and is super easy to tear means you can use it to decorate pretty much anything. Why not use it to decorate glass jars, for gift wrapping or to add a pop of colour to notebooks? We've even seen people use it to decorate electronics such as laptops! But in this blog post I'm going to show you how to make mini bunting. Ideal for decorating a cake or even just to add a cute decoration in your room.
To begin, tear off a piece of tape a few centimetres long and fold it over the twine so that it sticks back on to itself. Repeat this step, leaving a bit of space between each piece but don't worry about being accurate, uneven spacing just adds to the charm!
Next you want to cut the tape pieces to neaten them up. Cut the tape any way you like, you could cut it straight across or diagonally. Here we've cut little triangle shapes in to the tape to get a flag like effect.
Keep going until you have the length of bunting you're after and that's it, easy or what? We'd love to see photos of washi tape bunting you've made - just get in touch via twitter or Facebook. You can browse our range of washi tape here.
